Entrepreneurship - Life with the Called

Greetings from Halifax. Instead of expanding on the next dimension of "hard corps" or consultative eSelling, this post is about the beauty of business.

My relationship with this fast growth Entertainment and eKnowledge studio is in the role of senior consultant/board member. Working with creative people can be exhilarating by itself, but when that same creativity is channeled into working on the business - long days are mere flash backs.

After 2 years of operations, we have looked at every facet of the business and are preparing for a hockey stick year. The type of growth every business plan promises but never delivers; this group will deliver on their growth targets.

Their passion and energy is intoxicating beyond any drug. The startup I have chronicled (eMarketing & eSales Guild for consulting companies) in this blog is currently a solo act with most contacts electronic. I didn't realize how much I missed the energy. No wonder we willing risk everything including our sense of self in order to pursue a dream, to sign our own payroll checks, to live our lives on purpose and not permission. The last elements is critical - granting ourselves permission to pursue and follow our dreams, and not being sheepeople waiting for permission from the master. I wish everyone could drink from this cup.
